Alberto Dufey

Alberto Dufey Castro is a Chilean-Swiss journalist. He has lived in Geneva (Switzerland) since 1973. He studied journalism at the University of Concepción (Chile) and holds a Master's degree in Education Sciences from the University of Geneva. He has been a correspondent in Switzerland for Mexican media outlets such as Excelsior, Uno más Uno and TV 13, and Chilean media outlets such as La Época, Fortín Mapocho and Interferencia, among others.

He has also worked as a correspondent in Chile for Radio Suiza Internacional and Le Courrier de Genève. He has also worked as an editor for Swissinfo in Bern and director of Swisslatin in Geneva.

Accredited as a journalist with the international organisations of the UN in Geneva (1974-1990) and (2001-2003), he was also a contributor to the Efe Agency, El País (interim) and correspondent for the Cuban agency Prensa Latina at the Palais des Nations.
