Beth Troutman

Beth Troutman, Ph.D., ABPP was born in Manhattan, KS. She attended grade school at Frankfort Elementary School in Frankfort, Kansas and high school at Frankfort High School in Frankfort, Kansas and Dysart-Geneseo High School in Dysart, Iowa. She is a lifelong book lover who decided to become a clinical child psychologist in 8th grade after reading "No Language But a Cry". She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she majored in psychology. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Iowa and completed her internship in clinical child psychology at Yale University Child Study Center. She is a clinical professor in psychiatry at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. "Integrating Behaviorism and Attachment Theory in Parent Coaching" is her first book.
