Don Taylor was born in Charles Town, WV but primarily raised in Philadelphia, PA. For thirty years he worked as a Human Services professional as an individual, marital, family and group counselor. Much of his most recent clinical work has focused on manhood issues. Buggin': A Brother's Tale is his first fiction novel, since the publication of a group treatment program, SEED: Self Esteem and Expression Development for African-American Adolescents.
Since the publication of Buggin: A Brother's Tale, Don has completed the sequel, The Cave, the second in the Jerome Mitchell trilogy, which will be available for purchase, soon. He has also completed a fan fiction novel entitled CROOKED! which is currently available to download or purchase.
Don is a retired Assistant Professor of Sociology in the College of Arts & Sciences at Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte campus. He currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Vicki, where he is working on the final book in the Jerome Mitchell trilogy.
