John K. Tsukayama, PhD has spent more than a decade studying terrorism and political violence, with an emphasis on the use of abusive violence in Counter-Insurgency and Counter-Terrorism. In his first career he spent twenty-six years as a specialist investigator in public and private positions. He led numerous investigations of white-collar crimes including political corruption, embezzlement, and public and private malfeasance. He also directed a team that advised corporations, law firms, government agencies, and individuals on how to avoid worst-case targeted violence by providing Threat Assessment and Management services when there were compelling reasons to believe solo or mass attacks were likely.
