Darin H. Land lives in greater Manila, Philippines with his wife of 20+ years. He serves as Professor of New Testament at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary, where he enjoys interacting with students hailing from the Philippines, across Asia, and around the world.
He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University (B.A. in Religion/Greek, B.S. in Physics '90; secondary teaching certificate '91), Regent College (M.C.S. in New Testament '00), and Fuller Theological Seminary (Ph.D. in Theology '07).
He is passionate about education, having taught full-time at three different high schools before earning his doctorate. He has been teaching graduate students for more than 15 years. He takes great joy in watching students move from misunderstanding to mastery and is always looking for ways to make his teaching more effective.
