Aykut Kibritcioglu

Aykut Kibritçioğlu is professor of economics at Ankara University, where he mainly teaches "international economics" and "economic growth" courses. After completing his undergraduate and masters studies at Ankara University in 1985 and 1988, respectively, he received a PhD in Economics at Christian Albrecht University at Kiel in Germany in 1994. From 2000 to 2002, he was a visiting scholar at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Currently, he is on on-leave in Paris. His recent research focuses mainly on global economic-financial crises, Turkish macroeconomy and transition to a green economy.
