Frances Metcalfe

Frances Metcalfe was born in 1958 in Harrogate, UK. Throughout her working life which she has dedicated a lot of time to teaching music, both as a peripatetic teacher and giving private tuition. She has always had a pen in her hand and has written several short stories for the Armed Forces own newspaper when she lived in Germany. She has now returned to the UK and lives in North Yorkshire with her partner Jon Frazer who has collaborated with her in her books as co-author and illustrator.
