Carley Cooper

Carley is an independent Christian woman. She was born in Newfoundland, and now lives in Barrie, Ontario. She has her parents and two younger brothers.

She always believed in God, Jesus, the death on the cross, and the resurrection; but did not know the concept of the Holy Spirit or having a relationship with God. She went to church now and then, tried to be ‘good’, and to do things for others. She thought this is what being a Christian was.

It took fourteen years after inviting Jesus into her heart to truly open to Him. Over the last few years she has found happiness in following Jesus, letting go of worldly things, overcoming fear, and true forgiveness.

She had a difficult life through a childhood surrounded in illness, negativity, sexual abuse and more. Then as adult through divorce, mental illness, self destructive behavior, isolation, and abuse. Every time she hit rock bottom she prayed. Finally, she started to listen. She is happier, healthier, and more outgoing. Through her journey toward God, she has become a strong, free, independent woman.
