Dorte Nielsen

Creativity Author, Keynote Speaker and Founder of Creative Communication and FourSight Denmark

Born in Denmark, Dorte Nielsen, M.Sc., studied at The Graphic Arts Institute of Denmark and later at The School of Communication Arts in London. Her subsequent advertising career in London won her creative recognition at numerous international advertising awards. Since moving back to Denmark, Nielsen has been teaching creativity and creative thinking at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, where she is founded the “Creative Communication” B.A. education for art directors and conceptual thinkers. Today, her creativity curriculum has helped make Creative Communication the most award-winning bachelors program in advertising in the world. After her success training creativity at the university level, Nielsen took her uniquely effective creativity curriculum to primary schools. Nielsen is the author of six books and numerous articles on creativity and creative thinking. Nielsen holds a Master of Science in Creativity from the International Center for Studies in Creativity. She is the Chairman of Creative Circle, the Danish society for the creative industries, which holds the biggest Creative Award Show in Scandinavia, celebrating creative excellence.
