Steven D'Alessandro

Steven D'Alessandro is a Professor of marketing at Charles Sturt University, NSW, Australia. He has written 8 textbooks and collectively 92 publications in areas of marketing on topics that deal with consumption, advertising and the unintended consequences of marketing. In 2012, he was awarded the distinguished marketing educator by the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy of the year award for his excellence and innovation in higher education.

Steve is known for his sense of humor and his entertaining ability. He is a passionate fan of the Fremantle Dockers, an Australian football league team.

He is married to the best woman in the world, Michelle and has two delightful daugthers, a cat Mr Darcy, and a chicken with Houdini like qualities.
