Barbara C. Allen

Barbara C. Allen, Ph.D. (2001) Indiana University Bloomington, is Professor of History at La Salle University in Philadelphia, USA. In addition to her four books, she has published articles in Cahiers du Monde Russe, Jahrbücher für Geschichte Osteuropas, Canadian-American Slavic Studies, Revolutionary Russia, and other academic journals. She has carried out archival research in Russia and Ukraine. Her current projects include translations of the history-memoirs of Alexander Shlyapnikov and the history of Worker Oppositionists in Ukraine, including their fates during the Great Terror.
