Maria West

Maria West is a nationally-recognized professional dancer and early childhood education specialist originally from New York. West specializes in writing preschool curricula and books for early childhood education and has her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She is also the featured children's presenter in the Dance 'n Beats monthly video series, a research-based preschool music and movement DVD and workbook program serving children in preschools, child care centers and homes throughout the United States.

Maria West still performs and teaches dance to both children and adults. She resides in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan with her husband and three little dogs.
