Jonathan P. Dyer

Award-winning author Jonathan Dyer spent three years during the Cold War living and working in Berlin as a Russian Linguist for the Army's Intelligence and Security Command. His experiences in Berlin serve as the background for his Cold War thrillers, the Nick Temple Files (six published to date and another in progress), and his 21st century thriller, The Holy Lance. Dyer's eclectic body of work includes a collection of short stories, A String of Beads, a post-modern existential novella, Judging Paradise, with strong undertones of Camus and Conrad, and a coming-of-age novel, Let Me Explain, that draws heavily on his adolescent years at a New England prep school. His latest work is Greg Scarpa, Legendary Evil, a biography of a notorious Mafia gangster who was also an FBI informant for more than 25 years. The book has been selected as Finalist in the 2025 Independent Author Network Book of the Year Awards. (Author photo by Vocal Visions)
