Dave Hanson

Dave Hanson is an internationally produced and published playwright, actor and comedian. His published and produced works include Waiting For Waiting For Godot (Oberon Books), The Exit Interview (The Collective: 10 Play Anthology Vol. 1), Cafe d'Automatique (The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2015 Smith & Kraus), Thank You For Letting Me Have Sex With You (The Collective: 10 Play Anthology Vol. 4).

His play Waiting For Waiting For Godot has received several regional productions in the United States and was a hit at the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival, receiving rave reviews from the New York Times & Time Out New York, as well as the "Overall Excellence in a play" award.

Waiting For Waiting For Godot received it's UK premier at the St. James' Theatre, London, in September of 2016 and is published by Oberon Books.

As a comedy writer and producer, Dave has worked on the hit show Chelsea Lately (E!) and as an actor has appeared on shows such as Inside Amy Schumer (CC), Chelsea Lately (E!), The Detour (TBS) and the feature film Trainwreck (Universal).

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dave studied Theatre and English Literature at Whittier College and is a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade improv school.

Dave is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, The Collective New York, & The Stillwater Writer's Group of New York.
