I am a retired engineer! I used to write technical papers, but yearned to make stuff up.

So, I became a historical fiction writer. I picked first-century Palestine for my setting because I know more about that than any other time in the past. You may too... from the Bible.

I live in Avon, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis with my wife, Gerri. She even reads my books!

Most of my readers are Christian, but they are Action/Drama so they appeal to nearly everyone, and they are clean enough for a young teen.

I have won writing recommendations from Pacific and Kirkus. That may not mean much to you but it means a lot to a writer. I am a finalist in a prestigious publication's contest. I will let you know how I did in May, 2020. See my blog.
