From the beginning, animals have always played an important part of my life. It all started with my first pony Pee-Wee at age 5. Since then animals have always shared my life and home. Currently I share my home and draw inspiration from Truman the Dane, Olive the Saint Bernard, Nicky the German Shepherd, and Finn and Angus my Siamese cats.

I grew up in Pennsylvania on a farm surrounded by a slew of animals. When I was not up early sketching all of these lovely beasties, I could be found snapping pictures with my trusty camera. In an effort to look for new creative ways to share my love of animals with others, I have found the medium of writing. It has been such a pleasure to take my lifelong passion for animals and creatively apply it to the art of writing.

In an effort to support animal welfare causes in creative ways, you can find my pet photography on several rescue websites, my images on the cover of AKC Family Pet Magazine and a published article for The Sheltered Life magazine. My love for animal welfare causes runs deeper than just creatively supporting the cause; I extensively volunteer my time as the President of Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. A portion of the proceeds from Pick Me! Pick Me! will be donated to support the RMGDRI mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Great Danes in need.
