Grace Ciszkowski is a freelance artist, writer, advocate for survivors of severe trauma and follower of Jesus. As a survivor of kidnapping by a serial rapist/killer and child abuse, she encourages, inspires and challenges others on their healing journey by sharing her struggles with them on her Facebook pages. She is also currently writing a book about her kidnapping and recovery from child abuse, giving God all the glory for her survival.
Grace has a MS degree in (Art) Education from Buffalo State College. Happily married, she relocated after years of working as an Art Educator in the Buffalo, NY area and moved to Philadelphia, PA. There she homeschooled her daughter and son (with autism) into adulthood.
As a trained group facilitator, Grace started the first Women's Depression and Bipolar Support group in Philadelphia, PA. She was also president of the Jr. Explorers Club for Homeschoolers for eight years, leading monthly educational field trips for over three hundred and fifty homeschooling families in the region, until her children were grown.
Currently, Grace enjoys encouraging people on her Celebrating Freedom page (https://www.facebook.com/CelebratinFreedom) which was started to help others on their healing journey to freedom from whatever holds them captive.
