Paula serves on the Pastoral Staff of The Voice Revival Center in San Antonio, Texas. Care, compassion and a generous heart are her mark and she is married to JeRome ‘Zoom’ Harper. Together, they minister to the body of Christ in the congregation; nursing homes; the incarcerated; and members of the community through song, music, mentoring, counseling and sharing the Word of God. They also host 'Before You Say I Do' and 'The Aftermath' a State of Texas authorized pre-marital and post marriage enrichment course, supporting strong Texas marriages.
Paula’s ministry, family and her heritage are her most treasured possessions. A fifth generation descendant of the late Reverend Hiram Wilson, a late 1800’s Texas potter, Paula is very encouraged by her family’s heritage as being the first African American businessmen in Texas after Emancipation Proclamation. The rich legacy Rev. Hiram Wilson passed on to his remnants continuously sparks Paula’s passion for Capote Church, Capote Cemetery, Wilson Pottery Foundation Museum, the Wilson Family Reunion and the Seguin community.
Paula now holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education in Human Services from Wayland Baptist University and is presently studying for a Master of Divinity, Chaplaincy Cognate at Liberty University and is a Clinical Pastoral Education Resident for Advocate Aurora Health in Illinois.
