I have a background in commercial management, being an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers following sixteen years in Retail Banking. This culminated as a Senior Personal Banking Manager within the Guildford Group of Branches, comprising 9 branches and 140 staff.
A career change into IT in the late 1990s has led to a number of roles within IT including three Head of Departments positions covering the complete spectrum of IT. Also as an accomplished Project Manager and a Prince2 Practitioner, I have successfully delivered complex systems replacement, integration and infrastructure projects—also a Chartered IT Professional.
I am now a Director of Cprime, a Global Agile Consultancy Business helping businesses transform. As a leading Agile, product, and technology solutions provider, Cprime helps leaders execute implementations and perform against business goals.
I am still an active agile practitioner and consultant and I deliver certified SAFe training courses being a SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT), one of only 135 worldwide and recently recognised as a SAFe Fellow. I am a contributor to the SAFe Reference Guide 4.5 and founder of the London SAFe Meet-up Group and now the co-author of the book "SAFe Coaches Handbook"
Finally, I am the Treasurer of BCS Kent Branch and co-founder of the Kent Scrum User Group. Also a co-author of the BCS Book “Agile Foundations – Principles Practices and Frameworks”, a contributor and reviewer of "The ART of Avoiding a Train Wreck", and a reviewer of "Valuing Agile; the financial management of agile projects".
