R. E. J. Burke

Born in Washington D.C. two years before Pearl Harbor, Rick Burke is a former U. S. Marine, graduate of the University of Maryland and Yale, engineer, shipbuilder, banker, entrepreneur, pilot, and evangelist. From childhood, his passions lay in archaeology, first in Mesoamerica, then the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age Fertile Crescent from Egypt to India, which led to his six-novel Raising Up Pharaoh epic. The recently proven spread of horsemen and their language from the Eurasian Steppes to forty percent of today's world population led him to write a coming prequel to the series. He and his wife, Nancy, raised four children on the U.S. East and West coasts and Heartland and Montevideo and Buenos Aires during their terrorist wars.
