V. K. Cody Bumgardner

V. K. Cody Bumgardner currently serves as the Director of Research Computing and Assistant Director of the Institute of Biomedical Informatics for a large public land-grant university. His work centers around research, enterprise, and healthcare computing in support of over 40,000 users.

Dr. Bumgardner holds a PhD (Dissertation: Contributions to Edge Computing) in Computer Science and over the past 20 years has held strategic planning, technical, and leadership roles in the areas of IT architecture, software development, networking, research, systems, and security, in both the public and private sector.
