Keya Murthy

Keya Murthy(1966) was born in Assam India to a Bengali mother and a Telegu father. Inter-racial marriage was not in vogue in India then. She and her siblings grew up rejected by the orthodox Indian society. As a shy, quiet and introverted child Keya learnt to listen more and speak less. Being a first born and a sensitive child, she learnt to work through her worries by writing them out. Her friends always asked her to write her thoughts. She found it hard to make public her private musings. Her passion is travelling, teaching, reading and writing.

She graduated with honors in Physics from Maharaja Sayajirao University in 1986 and earned a master's degree in Computer Science in 1989. She worked as a software engineer for 12 years in corporate America. Since 2001 she has been working with individuals and helping them overcome self-sabotaging behaviors using principles of hypnosis, neurolinguistic programming and esoteric studies of the world. As a Kriya practitioner and a student of Paramahamsa Prajňananda, she is active in her quest of self-realization.

Her first book 11 Steps to Goal Getting is a guide book that takes her reader on the initial steps in their journey of a thousand miles to their true north.
