Jenny Dee

An avid writer since childhood, my career in professional writing anchored my passion and encouraged my dream to become an author—my first book, Butterfly Travels, was published in 2014. Five years later, my children joined me in both my physical and literary journeys, sharing our family adventures with the world through Butterfly Travels 2.

I have since released a children's astrology and numerology book series (co-authored with my dear friend, Stephanie Foley), as well as an empowered women's trilogy, a traditional holiday romance, a humourous dating memoir, and a poignant fictional abuse novel written to enlighten, relate to, and empower survivors to thrive. My latest release was a passion project for a family company I've worked for most of my career, and I loved every moment of documenting the history and memories for Whitsons Way as a contributing author with Paul King.

I’ve never been a “one size fits all” type of woman. I like to connect to all kinds of people and share my stories and experiences in hopes that they touch a life. I don’t ever want my inspiration to be limited to a single genre, so it is with a great love for writing that I offer a multitude of styles to strike your fancy, from travel memoirs and children’s books to women’s literature and steamy romance.

​When I'm not passionately writing, I moonlight as a communications consultant. With over 26 years of experience in professional writing and marketing, I provide communications support to other entrepreneurs and businesses to help lead their companies to success. My background includes executive communications planning, technical and creative writing, editing, public speaking, project organization, and marketing campaign management. I am also a certified life coach and achieved CC & CL certification from Toastmasters.
