Scott Christensen

Scott Christensen is a native of Southern Utah, growing up in a cafe/service station in Elsinore, UT. He listened to the stories of farmers and ranchers, and even bigger lies from hunters and fishermen. After honing his skills, his stories could compete withthe best of them. He loves the outdoors and the old west and is constantly searching out local history. From the battle sites of the Blackhawk Indian War, lost Spanish gold mines and Utah's ghoast towns, there's history all around.

When asked to describe himself, sometimes he'll start by saying "You may not believe this but it's true." Scott's been attacked by a mountain lion, faced a bear with only a bow and had to tackle and wrestle a four point buck to the ground. He's hunted world class elk, hooked fish so big that he's had to jump in and swim down stream so he wouldn't lose it and chased mountain goats across Utah's highest peaks.

Scott also served in the Sheriff's Search and Rescue squad for 17 years, met Butch Cassidy's sister and spent over a month with Butch's nephiew talking about his unkle and other local history.

Scott's written for newspapers, had a column in a national magazine, been on the radio, written and performed cowboy poetry and a western childrens book. You could say, he's really lived the adventure!
