Nathan Douglas Hansen began his writing career in the Southwest, working as a feature writer and columnist for regional newspapers and magazines before attending Antioch University Los Angeles where he received his MFA. Hansen's life took a major turn after a near death experience and has since shifted from literary fiction to more experimental works that explore various micro philosophies through lenses that are both analytical and disorienting, purposeful to break the constructs and mental pictures of "should," "ought," and "must." When Hansen is not in his head, he resides in the American Southwest.
