René M. Vidal

A 7-time NCAA championship coach at four major universities, RENÉ VIDAL serves as head coach at national powerhouse NIU men’s tennis, a Top 100 ITA Division I program.

In 2022, he led the McKendree men’s team to its first Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championship, a school best 21-3 dual meet record, and a program best Top 25 (No.22) final ranking by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The Bearcats advanced to the NCAA Regionals Round of 32 for the first time as Vidal earned GLVC Coach of the Year honors.

Vidal is the top selling author of 5 books, including “Execute to Win: How Leaders Get Results,” and “Down 40 Love: Private Lessons on Turning Adversity into Competitive Advantage.”

He speaks to companies and public audiences on the subjects of Leadership, Sales, Attitude, Teamwork, Confidence, and Focus.
