Mr Keith H McClellan

Keith McClellan was born in Chelmsford, Essex, early in World War Two. He was educated at Brentwood School, St David's College Lampeter, and Birmingham University where he qualified as a teacher. He taught English in Kenya for six years, and then in Hampshire. He was Deputy Head in Hungerford at the time of the massacre, and subsequently headteacher in Bicester, Oxfordshire. He loves travel, theatre, walking, and writing. The Bootlegger's Widow is his first novel, but he has had a school play published by Longman, and has broadcast a biographical piece on BBC Radio Oxford. The Bootlegger's Widow combines his love of writing and of historical research. He is currently researching the biography of his father, A.W. McClellan, a distinguished librarian.
