Gilles Bertrand

Dr. Gilles Bertrand taught as an invited Professor in Paris' most prestigious graduate engineering schools for several years, in parallel to a successful international career in marketing and commercial leadership roles for the digital, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical industry.

In 2014, he published an innovative method to teach the Vietnamese language to French speakers. Among other innovations, he built this method by analyzing with big data techniques how often words appear in spoken language, based on a corpus of hundreds of movie subtitles. His book enables the reader to memorize the 300 most frequent words much faster than with other available methods.
