James "Doc" Manniken

James "Doc" Manniken was born in the Trans-Mississippi but educated in Baltimore, where he read American, English and French literature at the Johns Hopkins University. He has lived in Providence, Rhode Island, New York City, and Le Mans, France, but resides today in his home state of Arkansas. "Strange Tales of the West," published in 2014, was his first 'Gothic Western,' followed by "More Strange Tales of the West." His first novel, "Beneath the Pyramid of the Sun," will be out in early 2017.
