Adrian F. Wassel

Adrian F. Wassel was born in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1992. As a young boy, he moved to rural Virginia, where he spent the next eighteen years. Eventually settling in Missoula, Montana, Adrian helped launch a comic and multimedia company, CME, with his brother, father, and cousin. His first graphic novel, "The Gifted," has received glowing reviews since its recent publication. Winner of multiple awards, including the prestigious Helen J. Olson contest, Adrian entered the publishing world in his third year as a first generation college student. In all of his writing, from comics to public radio, he balances his tumultuous Southern roots with his intense love of the West.
