Barbara Bensoussan has been a journalist for Jewish newspapers and magazines for over 25 years, and received two Simon Rockower Awards for her work. She has edited and ghostwritten numerous books and memoirs, but her most satisfying--and creatively challenging--work has been her novels and culinary memoir.
She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Ariel, in a not-very-empty nest, as most of their children and grandchildren live nearby and show up frequently to make sure she abandons her computer on a regular basis. When not writing, or lost in a good read, you can probably find her in the kitchen turning out homemade challah or Moroccan specialties.
