Natalie Malphrus

Darcie and her mom, Natalie, emigrated to Texas from the far North Left Coast of the U.S. over the course of many years, finally landing in the Houston area starting some 20 years ago. They turned their love of travel into a web site focused on trips for women (Great Girl Trips) and their love of the water, sand and sun into places in Galveston's Pirate's Beach, Jamaica Beach and Tiki Island. This book was written in response to countless discussions with friends about Galveston's many charms beyond the beach ("Sure, but did you know...?").
