C. Smith

About the Author

The author of The Clue, C. Smith, is a retired Advertising Executive that lives in Birmingham, Alabama. He's a 1965 graduate of Auburn University, where he majored in Commercial Art and Advertising. Smith, was born March 19, 1943 in Grenada, Mississippi. He grew up living in all the deep south states including: Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, and finally Alabama where he was active in sports. He participated in baseball, football, and track and field and was a two time state champion pole vaulter. In 1961 he graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He lettered two years at Auburn University in track and field. Since retiring in 2009, he has authored eight books. In addition to The Clue he has authored The Falcon Force, Command Plan, Jack Slade and the Unreliable Witness, Jack Slade The Psychic Detective, and book three of the Jack Slade trilogy Jack Slade The Last Vision. He has also published The Alabama Connection, which is a culmination of seventeen years research. It's a non-fiction about how the state of Alabama is connected to major news stories and historical events. He has also authored Spring Leaves a compilation of poems, short stories and blogs.
