Nancy M. Berrios

Nancy brings a fresh and insightful perspective as an author and illustrator. As a child, she loved art and would spend hours drawing and painting images either from imagination or from the storybooks that she read. Nancy studied and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts and design. She also earned a Master’s of Education Degree and graduate level certification in elementary school guidance counseling. A productive twenty-year career in elementary teaching and school guidance counseling, and her love for working with children have become the contributing source of motivation and ideas for her creativity. Presently, Nancy passionately dedicates her time to the illustration and writing of children’s picture books and educational resources. When not on world travels, she currently makes her residence in Oak Park, Illinois.
