My love of writing began at age twelve when I moved from Kentucky to Florida, touching loved ones left behind with heartfelt letters. My father encouraged me to pursue writing while attending college; however, life happened and only during the last twelve years have I been able to devote myself to the art. Writing has sustained me through many trials and tribulations, imparting emotions readers can relate to, which is why my business card reads: Writing from the Heart… My first novel “Remember the Rose” invokes the message: No matter how beautiful the rose or how sweet its fragrance, its thorns can inflict pain… and my upcoming novel “Waiting for the Daffodils” delves on the omen: Legend foretells a single daffodil brings misfortune…
