Jim Wolf

Master Storyteller Jim Wolf spent twenty years mining the traditions of Cape Cod and performing oral stories for schoolchildren and summer visitors. Every so often, a story is so good that the audience insists a book be printed so they can carry it home with them. The Magic of the Clam Flats (2021) is an adaptation of an audience favorite, and is Wolf's second children's book, following When Santa Claus Met Sandy Claws (2002). Both books are lavishly illustrated by Cape Cod artist Anne Rosen. Wolf was born and raised in Philadelphia, and attended Germantown Friends School. He studied literature at Harvard College, class of 1978. 2009-2024, as Director of Sustainability at a regional airline, Wolf taught 100's of employees eco-conscious best practices. He is committed to the practices of conservation and sustainability. He is married to author Irene M. Paine, and lives in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts.
