B. G. Jenkins

B.G. Jenkins was born in Dayton, OH. Her love for poetry began in grade 5 and continued thereafter. She took courses in writing and vocabulary at Sinclair community college, and after her children were born, she continued on with more courses through correspondence. BG also attended Westford College and became a realtor, but her heart was always in writing poetry, and creating stories. She returned to writing and continues to take classes today.

Her first book in 2014 was "Seren Chickadee~ Tweet Songs from the Heart (and Other Poems)," was a book that she created from poems (and songs) that she and her grandchildren made up. Other poems books and stories have been created since to inspire her grandchildren, and others, to open their minds to the power of reading and creative writing.
