Elizabeth Lowrie

Elizabeth Lowrie is an Australian with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology. She is a retired career public servant who has held senior executive positions in the Commonwealth Government in Financial Services, Health, and the Foreign Service. She is an ex diplomat.

Her first book "Committed Undone", is a journey of inner healing. It is a story of dealing with insurmountable grief caused from the global publication of details about her divorce by Elizabeth Gilbert the author of Committed. Elizabeth reaches a place of acceptance about not being able to change matters beyond your control and learns compassion towards those who have hurt her - all through the practice of Buddhism. The aim of the book is to simply to tell her truth as she has lived it. "I just want my voice to be heard", she says.

Elizabeth is also an accomplished dream interpreter and has written a dream encyclopaedia. In this book, Elizabeth "cracks the dreaming code". Its her life's work and is due for publication in 2015. Elizabeth interprets dreams via her website www.dreamwithinsight.com.

Elizabeth's third publication will be another spiritual memoir which cultivated inner strength but also her physical endurance - an 800 kilometer walk through Spain with her best friend. "Suffering is transformative", she says. This is odyssey of fun, laughter and pain. It is likely it will also be available in 2015.
