John S. Tonello

John S. Tonello grew up in Upstate New York, where he’s worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, online developer, information technology manager, technical marketer for leading software companies, and mayor of the City of Elmira. He’s a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School, and makes his home in Matthews, N.C. He's fond of cats, dogs, science, history and Linux. His first book, "The Bruxism Proxy (G.I.: A Brief History of the Weird Battle Raging Inside Me)" is a memoir based on his early experience with ulcerative colitis.
