Fred H. Wohlbier

Fred H. Wohlbier is a materials scientist who worked as Senior Scientist at the renowned Battelle Memorial Institute (Columbus, Ohio) before becoming the founding editor of the international periodicals “Materials Science Forum” and “Solid State Phenomena”. For many years, Fred Wohlbier has also been very interested in the philosophical interpretation of the results of scientific research. This has led to his books “The Tree of Nature” and “The Evolution of Meaning” which have recently been published by Trans Tech Publications (Switzerland) in the new series “Science-Meets-Philosophy Forum”.
