Catherine Dossin is Associate Professor of Art History at Purdue University. Originally from France, she received a Master’s degree from the Sorbonne and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research pertains to the geopolitics of the art worlds, cultural transfers, artistic circulations, and historiography. She is the vice-director of ARTL@S (www.artlas.ens.fr), and the editor of the ARTL@S Bulletin. She also serves as President of the European Postwar and Contemporary Art Forum (ECAF at www.epcaf.org).
