Brandon Alinger

Brandon Alinger is the chief operations officer of the Los Angeles branch of Prop Store, a company specializing in film props and costumes as memorabilia. Prop Store works with studios and production companies to produce auctions of props and costumes used in the making of films and television shows. Alinger is the co-author of Star Wars Art: Ralph McQuarrie, as well as the author of Star Wars Costumes: The Original Trilogy. He began his career in publishing as a research assistant to J.W. Rinzler on The Making of Return of the Jedi. He has been actively researching the production of the Star Wars films for many years and has tracked down and interviewed many of the artists and technicians who helped bring the films to life, as well as uncovering original filming locations in Tunisia, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Most recently, Brandon appeared as a featured guest on Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest, wherein Brandon reunited the Star Wars star with his hero lightsaber prop from Return of the Jedi.
