Andy Gilmer

Andy Gilmer retired after 26 years working in challenging prison environments where the Lord taught him about the power of God’s Word, and the ability of God’s Spirit to lovingly minister to all people. At home he enjoys bringing the gospel message into the encouraging of his children, the loving of his wife, and the writing of his stories. Andy and his lovely wife live with their two children in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Being a husband and father are Andy’s greatest joys. He believes the most important part of fulfilling both roles is living before his family an example of Christ-likeness since Jesus is the true head of his home.
