Ian Carroll

His name is Ian Carroll and he is an author......

Ian originally wrote the Official Book of the Reading festival and now he writes articles for the Official Reading Festival site and the History section each year, interviewing bands all weekend long - it's a hard job but someone's gotta do it!

Ian has also written the book of the Donington Monsters of Rock & Download Festivals which was great fun to write and he interviewed over 400 bands and artists in the process.

Ian has this year had a #1 on Amazon in the UK, USA, Germany, France and Canada this year with the book 'Lemmy: Memories of a Rock 'N' Roll Legend, the first in the 'memories' series, where great musicians are remembered by the fans, the friends and the bands. The second book in the series 'Ronnie James Dio: The Man on The Silver Mountain' was also released this year as well, with more to follow.

His first actual novel was 'My Name Is Ishmael' which is a horror tale of demons, bloodshed, lesbians and dirty sex, what more could you ask for?

A book was released on Christmas Eve - 'Pirate Demons Vs Vikings' a bloody tale of Scandinavia, lots of blood, swords, Vikings, Demons and set in Norway and Jamaica.

The next book 'The Lover's Guide To Internet Dating' was be released in April 2015 and is a story of the trials and perils of 'internet dating' and the pitfalls that can occur.

Another horror/ghost story was released in March 2015 called 'Valentine's Day' which is the story of a woman who encounters a gypsy's curse and the series of events that ensue afterwards.

Since then 'Warning: Water May Contain Mermaids' and 'Pensioner' have been released as well, both to great reviews.

The book on the Cornwall Coliseum was also released as were the recent series of 'BLANK' Football books, which are excellent for jokey 'Secret Santa' presents!!

Many more books to follow as well, at least three before the end of this year, in time for Christmas, keep checking this page for updates...
