Dr. John Hayhurst

Dr John Hayhurst, commonly referred to as Dr John or Pa, was born in Fairmont W.Va.

He married his high-school sweetheart in 1970 and has three grown children and six wonderful grandchildren.

Squeezing an eight year education into twenty-three years he was finally awarded with a Ph.D. in Christian Psychology in 2005.

Dr John has served as a senior Pastor twice and is currently an associate Pastor at the "Lakewood Church of God" in Hudson Fl.

His interest in writing began almost twenty years ago when his grandchildren were small and he penned "Lil Lady Lacy" as wholesome, fun, short story for them.

Since that time he has completed several other works including "REBT and Me" and "Joes Fan", both comic-book style publications addressing issues troubling youthful offenders serving sentences in Florida's prison system.

More recently Dr John has published "Encounters with the God of Compassion", "Duplicatable Discipleship", "Irma the Worm" and the "Historically Accurate, Politically Incorrect Barack Obama Coloring Book". His first short story "Lil Lady Lacy, the Funniest Bear Hunt" is still available on Kindle.

The good doctor currently resides in Spring Hill Fl. with his wife of forty-six years, Irma.
