With a remarkable 20-year career spanning human resources, talent management, organizational development, and diversity and inclusion, Thelá has honed her expertise to a fine edge.
Her illustrious journey includes key roles such as an executive consultant for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, where she designed groundbreaking human capital strategies to empower individuals in serving the homeless and vulnerable. She's also been instrumental in steering DEI initiatives at notable companies like Live Nation Entertainment, where she pioneered the first-ever diversity program in a global organization with over 10,000 employees and Paychex where she served as Head of DEI.
A scholar and author, Thelá holds a Ph.D. in public policy and administration with a law specialization from Walden University and contributes as a faculty member at Walden, the University of West Los Angeles, and Neumann University. Her upcoming book, "The Diversity Dilemma," offers an insightful exploration of diversity's influence on society, culture, and communities. Thelá is also set to unveil MRS HR in a Box©, a comprehensive, interactive, virtual learning and resource system designed to simplify HR management using best practices and the latest in technology, further solidifying her reputation as a visionary and catalyst for positive change. Her children's book, "The Dog Chef," was created to share the love of her family and Shadow, the family's german-shephard mix.
