Alice V. Walters

Alice V. Walters thought teaching was the vocation she was called to. She loved serving in a lot of different learning environments for over thirty years. Turns out, classrooms proved to be preparation and encouragement in growing passion and pleasure in writing.

Alice enjoys creating relatable characters and scenarios reflecting challenges with the same issues as her readers. Crafting scenes filled with believable relationships draws readers with drama, humor, and compassion, whether the scene is in a wood with two bunnies, on the road to Jerusalem among followers of Jesus, or among the tents and tribes of Old Testament heroes.

When Alice isn't writing, she and her husband, Tom, enjoy spending time with their kids, and grandkids. They also love traveling near and far. Lately, during travels, Alice has begun leaving copies of her books in places like subways, airports, and hotels for readers to find. She says it makes adventures more exciting.
