Andreas

Fred A. Werkmeister (1929) Born in Munich, Germany. His parents emigrated to Peru, S.A. after the beginning of World War II, where he grew up, attended school and became an electrical engineer. He immigrated the United States of America in 1955, where he worked as an electrical engineer for forty years, retiring in 1995. During these working years, he honed his problem solving skills becoming an expert researcher. All this time he harbored the desire to write about the Inca empire and their astonishing accomplishments.

He published his first book The Flying Boat in 2006, followed by its Spanish translation El Bote Volador in 2007. While retired he began researching the inconsistencies and contradictions he found in the nutrition guidelines issued by the federal agencies on the subject of human food. The results of his research became Health, Food and Energy published in 2012. Unhappy with the title and contents of The Flying Boat, he brought it up to date with the title of Sacred Valley Adventures in 2013.

After suffering a mild heart attack he began to research the subject of blood pressure, finding that there was a lot more to it than some of the assumptions made by the medical elite. The results of his research will be published when completed.
