Michèle SEGUI left Algeria with a few childhood memories. The exile of her family, her multiple places of residence, her interest in languages and in other people, gave her a nomadic, curious nature and a taste for traveling.
Rêves d'Orchidée, 2014, was inspired to her by her travels in Vietnam (homeland of her partner) where she had the opportunity to stay in authentic surroundings.
Je marche le long des lignes de ma main, 2018, allows the reader to follow again Lieutenant Pham Van Trung in a new investigation, once more in Vung Tau, a coastal town on the southern China Sea.
In Delta cruel, 2021, Captain Trung settles down in the Mekong delta, in Can Tho. While following the detective, the reader can discover a new environment, between earth and water, affected by climactic changes.
With these three novels, local colour and change of scenery are guaranteed.
A retired anglicist, the author lives in the south of France.
