Life has its twists and turns and along the way, if we are open to learning...life can give us a multitude of lessons. I was Blessed to come from a multi-generational family.
My Mother & Grandmother would take care of many of the elderly in our family. As a child I observed and absorbed many "Legacy Lessons" that helped me to become the person that I am today. I heard stories about wagon trains, coal stoves to microwaves, milk wagons and ice chests. I learned to laugh when we gathered for family dinners and heard stories from the past...and cry ...as I witnessed the hospitalizations and death of loved ones.
As I grow older...I am learning even more about how important those Legacy Lessons are. In my writing, it is my hope to share insights from previous generations to the younger generations. I hope to share the importance in putting down our technology for a bit and connect through "old-fashioned" conversations ("heart connections") which enhance sharing "Legacy Lessons" between one generation to another.
As I "write with His Purpose in mind", I also hope to share inspiration from God's Word to hopefully, in some way, encourage the reader as they journey through this life.
In 2014 my first book "Butterfly Hugs" was published. It continues to have a special purpose in helping families work through the emotional subject of death and the grieving process. I encourage you to purchase and share a copy with families who are struggling with talking about the loss of loved ones.
For young children, I recommend reading through the story first. Then use the illustrations and your own words to tell the story. For older children, you can read the story as written. Be aware of body language and questions children may have as you read the story. These are the moments where conversations about Grandma and Becky Jo will help families transition into talking about what is happening in their own family.
Recently, I was blessed to be a part of "The Gift of Inspiration For Women" - A DreamSTRONG Daybook!
This was my first Multi-Author project so I was very anxious to see the finished book!
As I leafed through the pages I was touched by the Gifts of Inspiration that were interwoven in the writing on each page.
Reading through this collection of Inspiration, I was in awe that 33 women from different walks of life and reference points could so cohesively bring together such a beautiful heart connection from one woman's heart to another.
I am grateful to Connie Gorrell for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this project.
If you want to purchase copies on Amazon. all proceeds from your purchase will benefit The DreamSTRONG Foundation.

I hope you will invest in this gift of Inspiration and that you will be Blessed by the heart connection that you will receive from each Author.
I truly feel that God can use seeds of Inspiration that were planted with love in the soil of need to produce a bountiful harvest of Hope Renewed.
May God Bless and connect your heart not only to other women through this book...but also to HIS.
Sincerely,
Beth Robbins Bontrager
